Hallstatt – day trip to the Salzkammergut
Hallstatt is one of the most famous places in Austria and attracts visitors from all over the world. The small town lies directly on Lake Hallstatt, surrounded by steep mountains, and is known for its unique location, historic houses and its over 7,000-year-old salt mining history.
Our private ride takes you comfortably and stress-free from Salzburg to Hallstatt in about 1.5 hours – with no transfers, timetables or parking worries. Along the way, there is the option to make stops, e.g. in Bad Ischl, at the Dachstein Giant Ice Cave or at particularly scenic viewpoints.
Once in Hallstatt, you’ll have plenty of time for a walk through the center, a visit to the bone house, a lake cruise or lunch with a lake view. We’ll then pick you up again on time – or wait nearby if you prefer.
The ride can be planned ideally as a half-day or full-day trip. Start and return times are arranged according to your daily schedule.
